On Sunday, December 18, Agence Ometz held its first Family Hanukkah Party for immigration clients in person since the pandemic. Over 300 newcomers from all over the world celebrated with delicious food, a dance performance, and fun activities like cookie decorating, animation filmmaking, chess, arts and crafts, and face painting. Thanks to community members’ generosity, almost 200 kids received a bag full of new toys to make the holiday (often their first Hanukkah in Montreal!) extra special.
