Federation CJA has strong and diverse relationships with the agencies which deliver services to Montreal’s Jewish community. Some agencies are recognized by Federation as Affiliated Agencies. These tend to receive significant funding from Federation CJA. Federation also funds some communal organizations that are not constituent agencies but are closely associated with the organization. Federation maintains close relationships with other associated communal organizations that it does not directly fund.

Founded in 1950 in Montreal, the JEM Workshop Inc. operates as an adapted workplace with industrialized vocational goals, and is recognized by Emploi-Québec. It is in addition the regional centre for pediatric and adult services for individuals with physical disabilities.
